everyone who reads this knows for certain:

i am a crazy animal lover...

-every day, all the time-

...and today is no different.

at breakfast, in this house, we watch the critters

and make observations and discoveries...
usually it's nothing too noteworthy.
chipmunks have got to be fast around these parts

if they want to get down on a tasty peanut or two

because the blue jays stuff them in two or more at a time

(that's what she said)!

today ,

i was loving on some very beautiful doves.

they eat all the little seeds i don't bother to identify.

i've also decided i am their mom now,

because i love them SO much.

they left cute little foot prints all about;

and i do enjoy that sort of thing.

i will try to be a good mom...

i will feed them and tell them how awesome they are

and they will mostly ignore me,

wait for some food and take off all ungrateful like,

and i will continue on with my day,

and do it all again tomorrow.

ah, the joys of parenthood.
