spotlight on this business

i know, i'm terrible.
a blog slacker...
and that is super lame.

i just wanted to say thank you;
to the universe, friends and family
for making 2009 such a bright and positive year.

it was a very productive year, i've realized,
now that i am reflecting on it!
we got a lot accomplished...
but somehow it doesn't feel like i personally did enough.

i am hoping 2010 will also be a productive year,
it'd be nice if a lot more art gets made.
i think it will happen,
because,
i am feeling more settled.

this winter will undoubtedly be a long and cold one...
so i will be indoors in too many layers,
making some art,
and looking like a scary bathrobe-wearing cat lady(sans cats).

you know,
i have been rocking the bathrobe outdoors whilst walking my dog.
but only in hopes of offending the very wealthy part-time neighbor folk.
they have a fondness for massive spotlights...
and i'm guessing an unhealthy fear of the dark.
they are from mass. and i'm not certain,
but judging by the lights and the direction they're shining in,
they may be trying to land a helicopter on our roof.
i'll keep you updated.
