almost christmas

ugh.
every store
is playing christmas music...
a psychological trick to get you to buy more sh!t.
it mostly makes me want to leave as fast
as i'm physically capable from the offending establishment.
it is just so dang obnoxious.
some folks don't celebrate christmas,
and some just plain don't give a hoot,
so the atmosphere in these stores seems oppressive
and a tad offensive(depending on the song).
i have a special hate for anything adam sandler gets paid to sing
because it just isn't funny (sorry paul).
it feels stifling to me,
and i'm not hating on christmas...
i just want to get through thanksgiving first.
one major holiday at a time for me...
they usually consist of less money and more stress,
so i'm all set with rushing to the next one.
jeez.
