wallpaper woes

wallpaper...
how many layers is too many?
i'll tell you my friend,
apparently there isn't such a thing
as long as you paint over it,
or at least that is what the last inhabitants
of this house thought.
seriously,
they painted over lumps, bumps
and holes like it was cool.
i will tell you something else...
it isn't that cool.
thank the stars some inventor
came up with the wallpaper steamer
because we just couldn't handle the
amount of wallpaper they stuck to this place
without it!

in other news,
i have been leaving small treats for our chipmunk
because he visits every morning.
raisins, sunflower seeds,
and some other delicious(and nutritious)
snacks.
the kids were doing that,
so i am keeping with tradition...
and one very happy rodent.
