a little taste of fall

ooooo, the nights are getting chilly,
and the days are feeling a wee bit chilled themselves,
so as you can imagine...
i'm getting even more psyched on fall!
we kicked off the pre-fall weather yesterday
by enjoying some cider doughnuts.
those of you who have enjoyed these little round delights
with us know they are totally blogworthy.
those of you who haven't should get your little round ones
up here and enjoy some with us,
so you can understand what fall tastes like.

in other news,
i purchased some solar lights for the driveway yesterday
and can't wait to see them in action!
solar powered anything really rocks my socks!
i know it is super-nerdy to get excited about such things,
but who really gives a hoot?

i am missing my friends and family
who i haven't seen in a while,
but i think (and hope) i will see most of you this fall!
albie and i are hoping to enjoy our favorite season with our favorite folks...
