today i tattooed a gentleman
who wanted a big black swastika
tattooed on his inner arm.
not the buddhist/hindu/native american kind, either.
i guess if you want to be offensive,
you have to go big and black
(that's what she said)!
don't worry,
he brought his seven year old daughter
to witness the hate stain.
some people would argue that
i shouldn't tattoo such heinous symbols
i don't personally agree with.
i have to tell you,
i don't agree with most tattoos
people get.
i can't be anybody's moral compass
and my job is to put a tattoo on,
not lecture individuals about their futures
or lack thereof, as the case may be.
i will not say that my way of thinking is the right
way because i don't like folks doing it to me.
if a person wants to advertise hate on their body
i guess i look at it as a warning to others to not befriend these
individuals.
a big black warning.
