another weird postcard!
neil young could write a song about the day we had!
the weather was most excellent,
so we (albie, paul, harv, mae, and myself)
went on a hike,
played near a river,
walked on some train tracks,
ate cider doughnuts,
went out to lunch,
played with the dogs,
and then the kids and i played some more outside!
isn't that so fantastic?!
and it's only five thirty!
we needed this day.
tomorrow is a semi-big day for us.
we are doing some grown-up stuff that may
...or may not be beneficial!
it should at least push us in one direction or another!
i'm hoping it's a gentle push
and not the kind that sends you sailing off a tire swing.
i'm not big on disappointment
(i've mentioned),
but i'm going to try and take it like a champ no matter what.
i might be saying that for show...
but it makes me feel better to know
i will be wearing my big girl pants!
i hopefully won't break down into a full blown
bad kid in a toy store tantrum.
i must admit,
i do so enjoy flailing around in despair.
it just feels so real!
tonight i will try to get a good night's sleep
and keep the vibes positive.
keep your fingers and toes crossed for us!
