i worked hard today!
i'm feeling it.
it is good to work hard and make those papers.
they are unfortunately a necessity
in this crazy world we live in.
i am grateful to be working;
it isn't easy out there.
some folks make money
because they bust their asses...
and others make too much money
because they can play sports really well.
some folks need to hustle every cent
and others just coast on someone else's dime.
it's all very confusing.
i always say it is easy to become homeless in this world.
that is a sad fact.
i think that all too often people just assume that
homeless folks are mentally ill,
or on drugs,
but in reality
losing a job or making some bad choices is all it takes.
losing a job is easy,
and making bad choices isn't hard either!
be grateful if you are working and have a roof over your head.
a cardboard box isn't much of a shelter,
but their are plenty of folks out there who
would call that home.
