charlotte?

i feel like i'm living in a fat man's armpit.
it's about one hundred degrees out here!
dang!
i strongly dislike this type of heat,
but i also dislike air conditioning that feels as though
i've transported myself within mere minutes to an arctic region.
i might just be a weenie.

in other news,
we have the most epic spider of all time nesting in the eaves
of our house.
she's huge and it's borderline offensive,
but she is also very beautiful and really busy.
her web is a work of art beyond comprehension...
and it's great because she lives OUTSIDE
which means coexisting peacefully without confrontation.
i'm going to try to get a good photo of her.
she is totally blog-worthy!
