friends in low places

sooooo,
have any of you ever stared
at a light socket for so long,
it started looking like angry little yellers?
i did that,
and fully endorse you trying it.

i have also befriended a saggy old balloon
who has been hanging out since my birthday...
and he's not hanging high anymore,
he was about eye level this morning
and now he's sitting about eight inches above the bed.
he's wrinkly,
but still sparkly
and i love it.
i love the way he hovers around
like he wants to hang out with me!
i just can't take the scissors to him yet.
i will wait for him to do his thing in his own good time.
it's only right.

maybe i'm going a bit nutty over here...
with good reason...
we got some news today,
and it was good news,
soooo,
those folks waiting on house news
will have to stay fully tuned in
because it looks like it might actually happen...
