Wednesday

dirt dangles

i just had a lovely evening with albie, paul,
and casey.
we ate too much food at a place called the
green elephant.
it was suggested to us by the awesome folks of tsunami tattoo!
it was a nice change from the hectic schedule we have maintained
these past couple of days!
thank you all who were involved making this day a superstar!
i started my day off well by talking to my father and step-momma
at the same time!
it was fun...
and right before that
i had some quality time with my four-leggeds.
my dog, hamden, gets the credit for finding a giant moose antler!
she sniffed the half-submerged head dangle out for me!
i carried it home for albie to enjoy.
he really likes weird animal bits
(as long as it's not for dinner)!
i really felt like an "up here" person
whilst trudging down the muddy road with an antler,
and i didn't get so much as a strange look from the passers-by.
is that odd?
i would also like to state, for the record:
i was wearing overalls and wellingtons(rain boots)at the time.
maybe i have been up here too long
because i just scared myself with that last bit!
if i aquire a 'quad', as in: a.t.v., EVER,
somebody better come and get me out of here!
some early warning signs (sans the ones mentioned above)
would be plastic house ornaments,
a rusty car (or two) in the driveway,
or one or more dirtbikes.
also,
leaving mud caked on the side
of my jeep would be a good tell-tale sign.
i'm just saying...
help a sista' out if you see the early warnings.
be well friends.
